Anyone here bought jacket, glove and helmet from Leatherup (Xelement)..?

I am shopping for new stuff to buy along with my bike (T-bird 1600 or Storm) next month. Needed any feedback on the following items, if any one here had bought these....knows of anyone who bought these...

1) Jacket:

2) Glove:

3) Helmet:

I don't know if the jacket and glove are water-proof. If not, can any one make a suggestion for good water proof stuff that is not too expensive?

It's been a while, but Leatherup worked fine for me. HOWEVER: double check your order before you hit send. Once it hits the system, you're stuck with your choices. I accidentally ordered the wrong sized gloves once. I called about 2 minutes later and ithe order was irreversible. It then becomes a return issue. Fortunately, the gloves fit my wife just fine.
I found that X-element products to be hit or miss on quality. I had 2 different textile jackets and some riding pants by them. One jacket was pretty sad, the other was fine. The pants, well the zipper broke early on, fortunately the velcro kind of alleviates any..fallout. The jackets were eventually replaced with more...mainstream brands.
FWIW, I've had good luck finding name brand sale & clearance items from Competition Accessories.
It sounds cliche', but you don't have to spend a lot for gear, but spend enough. X-Element is more of a dice roll than I would prefer.

I used them a couple of years ago. Biggest problem I had was with the sizing. I'm in between a medium and a large. Everything I read said their sizes ran small, so I ordered an XL jacket. When it arrived, it was still to small. Shipped it back (which I had to pay for from Alaska) and tried to order the XXL but it was out of stock. Ended up ordering a large HD FXRG jacket off of Ebay for about the same price I was going to pay for the X-Element. Not plugging HD stuff here, but the FXRG was 5 times the jacket the X-Element was in quality, comfort, fit and finish. That being said, I still don't think the FXRG is worth the $600 HD wants for it, but check out Ebay and other sources for used jackets. I went into the local HD dealer to try on the jacket before I ordered it to make sure the fit was correct...can't do that with Leather-up.

Just passing on my experience. Good luck which ever way you go.
