Congratulations! I am also looking at a Storm ABS, just started the arduous task of getting some prices from various dealers...

I didnt think I would like it, but the long haul seat with the sissy bar looks pretty good on the storm. Looks like it would be really comfy for my wife or daughter when they are riding with me.

Thanks for pointing that out I think the cissy bar has been assembled wrongly .No wonder it was a bit tight with me and the wife on .On inspection.will take it of and change more room then.

Did you get the bike from a dealer? Might be a good time to look at other dealers in your area if you did.

That sissy bar is not necessarily on backwards. The cushion and everything is reversible for that very reason, so that you can have it on one way or the other.

Converting it to be the other way is pretty simple... just pull off the sissy bar and reverse the pad on it, then put it back on. Nothing to it.
