Light Bar on SE or bike with windshield

I have a 2010 Thunderbird SE. I do a lot of evening/night riding via commute and would like to add the Triumph light bar to my single headlight. I've heard conflicting reports that you cannot add the light bar if you're using a windscreen (at least the Triumph windscreen). Does anyone have a definitive answer on this?

I can refute that report handily. I have a 2010 T-Bird ABS with Triumph Windscreen and Light Bar.

Daycruiser, what seat are you using ? Looks great and has too be comfortable.
And like yours the lightbar works perfectly and adds a lot more light especially with 55 watt bulbs.

Take a look at my avatar. SE with highway lights. I changed out the 35W bulbs for 55W bulbs. Worth every penny.

The seat was custom built by Russell Day Long, they are expensive but probably build the best touring seat bar none. I've had them build two seats for me so far and both have been perfect. You have to send them body measurements of both rider and passenger and photos or they won't build it. They use the OEM seat pan so you loose your seat while it's being built, about 4 weeks. I just had it done during the off-season (December).

Hi Mickeyboy,

Was the light bar a Triumph product? Do you remember how much it was? Thanks in advance.

I have the OEM roadster screen part A9741023 and the light bar OEM part A9938100 went on with no problems. The light bar cost me $296.99.

I paid $270 including tax with a military discount and installed them myself. To drop the forks, pull the turn signals and re-install everything took about 3-4 hours including the obligatory beer breaks.
