Talk about choices.

Well I thought I was set on a 2011 storm with no ABS. I even put deposit on it. However dealer also has a 2012 marble red haze TBird1600 with ABS. After reading some of the posts here on ABS I'm thinking of getting the TBird with ABS. But the nice discount the dealer gave me on the 2011 storm is hard to pass up. The marble red haze is beautiful. Do early TBird owners wish they had the ABS? I read alot of info. On pros and cons of ABS but have yet to see anything to has convinced me 100 percent one way or other

One of the dealers I spoke to recently said ABS is now standard on all TBirds (starting with 2012). So the savings of having no ABS is a thing of the past post-2011 models, so if that savings is important, better seize the opportunity now while it's still possible.

ABS is like insurance, it really makes no difference if you have it or not, until you need it, then you may be glad you do! Like insurance, you may never need it or use it, but you never know.

If you are a relatively new biker, with say less than 10 years/ 100,000km worth of experience, ABS is probably a good choice. If you are well experienced you will have ridden many bikes from the days before ABS and can probably manage as well or better without it.

Well I switched to the ABS version. Few factors went into my decision. Riding experience, resale value, really liked the Marble Red Haze paint job compared to Storm. Plus figured I could cutomize a little bit more than the Storm. Very happy with me decision.
