New Storm on Order

Hi - Just put my order in for a Storm, but I want to put a quick bag on the back or somewhere. Stick my gym gear in, just lift off etc. The sissy bag is way too small. I have a Tourpak on my GT which was great, I did see some quick bags that appear to strap over the seat ?? Any ideas - or am I going to be lugging a rucksack around.

Lots of bags made to fit down over the sissy bar. I have one for my Harley. Stop at a Harley dealership and look over their accessories. You can likely get the same stuff without the Harley Logo on it. Now if you don't have a sissy bar then you're a little limited. They make a removable sissy bar for the Thunderbird, I assume it would also fit on the storm.

I am giving real thought to a new Thunderbird with the black and cranberry paint. Haven't seen one yet. Might check them out over the weekend.

You've got a LOT of options. I would suggest getting the rear rack, and removing your passenger seat. After that the sky is the limit as to what you can strap on there. Can't see why you couldn't fit the Tourpack on that rack? I bought one of the racks (and powdercoated it black ... hehehe) and I haven't had my pannier seat on since.

The stuff looks interesting. With one of their XL bags, I could go around the country ... lol. That thing is massive! "I fit 60 beers in it!" is quite a testimonial . Almost made me whip out my credit card on the spot.

What if there were no hypothetical questions?

Have you looked at any of the Kriega bags?

I use them... can be tail bag easily secured, without ugly frames being left behind...
and it comes with a shoulder strap to carry it when not on the bike
