tbird is home again

Picked my Storm up today after my 500 mile service. had already added the Corbin single seat (love it), windshield, front crash guards with hwy pegs. had the dealer install short tors, air filter and new tune. also had them install a set of 1" black spacers/risers that Spacer Jim made up for me in black. I am about 6'1" and this is the best mod i think i have made for my comfort. only adjustment i had to do was move the front brake bracket on the handlebar about 3/4" towards the center of the bars (away from the throttle). also added luggage rack (wish they offered this in black!

Nice looking bike; seat looks really comfortable.

Pretty bike. I added the luggage rack like yours yesterday. Did you mount it? The front bolt down on mine did not match the curve of the fender, took a little bending to get it to mount.

Sharp looking bike!

The corbin looks great on the bike. I have the Windvest screen on my bike as well. Outstanding screen.

First service done.......open her up occasionally (the smile lasts all day)!

i mounted it. seemed to fit ok. was a tight fit with the corbin though. had to loosen it up and pull it towards the back a tad . ride safe!

Your bike looks great. Might have to break down and buy that seat. What windshield is that? Is it quick release? I think my bike is about to be hooked up to her trickle charger. Rode it yesterday but now the roads here are all salted waiting for snow.

Hey brendaggi,

Nice work on the bike! I think if you black powdercoated that front crash bar, it would look even better.

I actually got the same back rack as you did and hated the chrome ... so I did something about it. Cheap and easy.

Here's a link to the post.

Or you could just take it in to a local powdercoat place. Probably cost you $30 to have it done in black.
