Getting 45 mpg average on the carnival red SE, all 812 pounds wet of it. I think Triumph lists 36.5 mpg on the Storm and 42.5 on the 1600 cc bike. Have been very pleased with the mileage on my bike, and have been using mostly regular fuel and then mid-grade on the road. If you push your bike hard, you can get it down in the 30s mpg range and have the distinct privilege of getting your valve job done earlier. :-) I found the 1600 more than adequate to haul my 265 pound gluteus maximus around, and do most passes with just a roll of the throttle, with no shifting down. Like they say, your individual mileage may vary. Whatever you get, enjoy your riding and ride safely.

Why do you guys care about mileage?! Just get out and ride!!! What does it cost to fill the tank... $10-15?!?! I dont even look over at the pump after filling. This bike costs over $10K and we worry about saving a few pennies on mileage?!

Ok rant over.
My friend asked me yesterday what kind of mileage I was getting on my Tbird. I said "don't know, don't care."
