Thumbs up Removing Flat Black Paint on the Shorty TOR's

Well I decided I didn't like the black paint on the end of the short TOR's. So I stripped it out and I'm please with the results. Low an behold there is chrome under the paint! It looks good. Anyone care to see it?

Use a gel paint stripper and a cheap paint brush. It takes about an hour and I think it's well worth it. Make sure you have some fine steel wool and a plactic scrapper. Polish with Mothers Mag Polish, Semichrome, Flitz etc.

Makes the backend look brighter.

Thanks. Can't say it really matters to me either way, so i'll leave mine as is, Glad i don't like it more, as it saves me an hour's work.

Guten Tag. Das Chrom ist schön, ich mag es. Es ist wie der Rest des Fahrrads. Vielen Dank für Ihre Meinung, ich schätze es. Wie gefällt Ihnen der Rocket? Gib uns ein Bild. Ich möchte es sehen.
