And thanks for the complements... Those are the stock pipes. I REALLY like the looks of the stock pipes and plan to keep them. I tried a set of the long TORS and the sound is not what I'm looking for.

So the next step for me is to remove the CAT and gut the stock pipes. I'll use a set of baffels that I can tune and have them installed in the stock tubes. I'm hoping for a sound that is as unique to the bike as is the color.

I've got a friend that has done this to a HD... and it really sound good!

I'll post again in a new thread when it's done...

I knew the color when you mentioned your old Ford T-Bird. I said to myself, "Too bad he is putting all this effort into this lousy color."

I was dead WRONG! The total package is spectacular! Good for your exceptional taste. Worth every minute.
