You lot have a lot to answer for!

G'day from Melbourne, Australia

After reading all of your thoughts on the Thunderbird V America/ SM I have just put down a deposit on a new Thunderbird!

I've blown the budget but I'm sure it will be worth it.

Went in to trade my old Speed Triple on a Storm, ended up keeping my Speedy and buying a white with red and blue 1600 with ABS.

This one was on the floor with $3k off list price.

Came home to think about it and after a few calls from the dealer got them to throw in heated grips and auxilary power outlet, both installed for the same price.

Couldn't be happier and cant wait to pick it up

Cheers

Jase

I haven't seen that color scheme; look forward to seeing pics.

It's like this one except the thin stripe on the tank and rear fender is red instead of blue

Thanks - that's really a different look! Makes the tank look huge - bike has a more muscled look to me.

Looks great. Sounds like you got a great deal. I ended upgrading to the Storm from an America after two months. I blew my budget but very happy.

That's the one, I'm not sure about the painted Triumph on the tank.

If it doesn't grow on me I'll get the tank 'personalised'
