Off hand.I don't remember if the little dlip goes inside or outside of the caliper. But as long as it's home,or all the way in and bottomed, that's how it's supposed to be.However, the bend on top of that little clip will face the opposite side or to the right as you're lookin at it from the rear of the machine.I recently installed my fourth set of rear pads,so you would think that I'd remember.Well DUH!! I don't.lol But I believe I'm right. Dave!!!

Thanks Dave - I think I got it right i.e. between the back of the pad and the calliper (inboard of the pad, that is) - anyway, it worked fine on the testride, and yeah, with the bent end of the 'R' clip pointing inboard too, that makes sense. Haven't mucked around with Brembos since I had a flirtation with Guzzis for a while over 20 years ago - cheers, Pat

I have been replacing brake pads in all of my vehicles (kids) over the past few weeks and when I do a new one for the first time I make a point to take a photo of the assembly with my phone or digital camera before I disassemble it for reference. Just a hint here but it has saved me hours of time trying to figure things out in the past.

The difference between a Yuengling and your opinion is that I asked for the Yuengling.
