Hesitation re-applying throttle

So, here it goes. My storm has a hesitation when I quickly re-apply the throttle after rolling off of it. The dealer tells me that it is popping, I know what popping is. The feeling is obviously momentary loss of power, then come explosions under the seat, not cool. anyone had this issue? How do I approach the dealer regarding this matter. Without them telling me to pound sand?
