I've been looking around my new Thunderbird with a magnet to see, more in hope than expectation, if there are any stainless fasteners on it and was pleasantly surprised that there's quite a bit. E.g. I had visions of changing all the windscreen fasteners for stainless and worried about the exhaust pipes and all the bits and pieces which carry and adjust the rider's back rest, but Triumph is already ahead of me. Now I just have to remember which bits aren't.
I've given the aluminium wheels a good coating and buff with Rim Wax, better now than when they are furry.

Some of the ones that are very visible like the 3 that screw the instrument cluster down are prime candidates for polishing. I use metal polish and a dremel with a cloth wheel and make em look like chrome.
