gastank issues

howdy everyone, i boought a2011 tbird storm in april. soon after that i was involved in an accident, sad but true. insurance ajusters were great got bike right to dealer. unfortunatly it's now july 30th and im still waiting on a gas tank. i missed a lot of good rides and haven't been able to vacation because all their deadlines have been missed. so what to do? customer service returns my phone call occasinally but i always have to follow up. don't want to slander triumph i've always had good luck with my 98 tbird sport. but what to do, any input would be great. gotta get some sleep this predictament has got me all worked up.

keep the shiney side up!

How damaged was your original tank? Can't you just use that for now until the new one come in? It may be dented and scratched, but I'd rather ride around like that then not ride at all.

Not sure if it helps in any way, but on ebay there are a couple black tanks in the $400 range as new.
