I just realized that you were talking about the Fatboy and not the Bob, which does skew some of my comparisons but O-well!

Same deal Im afraid . You have to test ride both and see which one you like the best . The TBird will handle much better and go faster, the Harley will sound louder and be a Harley .

I wouldnt buy either without testing them . If you want a pure tourer get a fully faired BMW or something for long comfortable rides . A BMWgt1200 to eat the miles in pure comfort.

Get a cruiser if you like the style and want to feel the wind in your hair.

Around here HDs are pretty much everywhere. I went w/ Triumph because I didn't want to be one of 10,000 black sheep


I would imagine in India the dynamic is a bit different.
The T-Bird isn't a sacrifice in comparison to a comparable HD. Not being an expert on the handling of other big cruisers, I can only say the T-bird is a pleasant surprise coming from a T-100. Power will not be a problem, especially if you go w/ the Storm.
