I agree to a certain extent . My bikes back from having the circualr bits on the engine blocks replaced because the chrome was fooked.

I've been saying the exact same thing for years ! It's the one thing harley excels at and the worse thing about triumph. tho i must say harleys lower and mid lines the chrome doesn't seem that good. triumph's other mistake is their water based paints. Just [email protected] I can just look at my tank and it scratches. So in all, it's thier finish quality all around. Good chrome and quality paint would be incredible, but lets face it....the Tbird would probably cost $5k more.

you don't need no steenkin' chrome. black is the new chrome, jose. chrome is for '57 desoto's
