Dual Duty Storm

You know, some days you want to blast over to the cafe for lunch, or to the local dealer to browse so you want that lean, hungry minimalist look.

And then there's the road trip days - maybe some 300-400 miles or more where you need to carry some gear and clothes, and some decent wind (or rain) protection.

Well, I have decided to have both modes for my Storm!

The first two pics are of the lean, mean look - National Cycle Switchblade Deflector windscreen, panniers off. The next two show the Road Trip Warrior - National Cycle Switchblade Two-Up windscreen, panniers on. The last one is the two windscreens side by side.

The Deflector fit without modifications; the Two-Up, however, required a lot of Dremel work to open up the bottom center of the windscreen to accommodate the dual headlights. Takes only a minute or so to switch from one to the other (including panniers).
