2010 Thunderbird rear brake pedal question

Anyone know how to adjust rear brake pedal position? Got a T-bird SE (floorboards), and I need more clearance between the board and bottom of the rear brake pedal to allow my boot to slide under when wearing my steel toe work boots for more comfortable riding. I think I know what I need to do but would like verification. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
