I stopped in at my local dealer this afternoon. According to them there are two open recalls on my bike. The fender bolts that we have been discussing here, and also ABS module bolts. I'm not sure exactly what these ABS module bolts are, but they ordered them for me, and I'll make an appointment after the parts show up.

At the dealership getting BOTH recalls taken care of. It's odd that we haven't heard much about the ABS module issue but lots about the mudguard. Anyway- glad they're being fixed today.

Angry TBird Recall!

I've been a little lax lately about checking in the forum, I better pay more attention! My bike is on the list and no one from Triumph or my Dealer has called or sent a letter. Considering I bought the first TBird in Louisiana, you would think they know to call me. I am coming up on my 2 year anniversary in July, I better get it in before it kills me!

Disappointed to say the least!

Had mine booked in on Monday, just the front mudguard (fender) bolts. Took less than an hour, any longer and I might have bought those waterproofs.

Didn't get a call from my dealer either and my VIN is registered with 2 different dealers service departments. They have the bolts in stock - just needed a day out to make an appointment - getting mine taken care of tomorrow.

all fixes (fender, abs) complete here with the exception of the pillion HW which is on back-order. I dont use the seat so they are just gonna give me the bag when it comes in.

I took my back seat off, and the bracket in front that it slides into - didn't like the feeling of my seat after that - was too spongy in the back and when I nailed it hard I slid back a little - put the seat back on to give my daughter a ride - loved the feeling of having that support so left it on...not as happy with the looks tho...but there ya have it.
