Anybody know when local dealerships will have the parts to actually take care of this?

I ordered some before i even saw the recall and they got mine in about a week. And they ARE the new ones. the only difference between the screws in your bike now and the ones they will put in is the red threadlocker thats painted onto the threads. the screws are the same. If you want you could remove the wheel and do it yourself with the proper thread locker.

not sure if thats the problem you heard about

was in town today so dropped off at the dealer and they found in the computer something about ABS but nothing to do with mudguards

anyway, they have parts ordered and will contact me when they are in

btw: checked my vin number and its 467225 ( 10/10 ) so its outside the vin range for mudguard which is up to 466489

Well I just ran the VIN tool again, and now it pops up saying there is a recall on my bike. It is too bad it doesn't say what the recall is. So it looks like I will be calling my dealer tomorrow, and making an appointment.

Tried again as well, after reading your post.
