How to post photos

It's dead easy really.

Photobucket is an option, but a simpler alternative:
  1. Upload your picture into the Member Album.
  2. View your newly uploaded picture.
  3. See the BBCode already provided in the lower section, under the title "Linked Thumbnail". It is properly formatted and ready to copy into your post.
Below is an example, from the first picture I could find:

1. You need digital photos on your camera.

Take the memory card and upload the pics into the computer.

2. Get your own photobucket account here: www.photobucket.com

and upload your pics into your photobucket account.

3. In order to get the photos on the Triumphrat website you must copy the Direct Link of the photo from your album page. Just left click on it an it copies automatically.

4. Then in your post on the TRN (Triumphrat.net)site click on the little button that's yellow and looks like a postcard.

It will open up a box starting with http://, but if you post after the http:// your pic won't work. Highlight the http:// first and paste the direct link address into the box, ovet the existing http://

Hey presto - your photo is now posted.

Also, be aware that we have a test forum here for you to test posting pics and so on, before doing it in the main forums.

And here is a link to another post explaining photo posting photo posting

Additional Example

As Haggis said, a good way is to use the triumphRAT.net photo album. This example uses that.

First upload your pictures to your triumphRAT.net album (I am assuming you already know how to do that).

Have two windows open - the one in which you are making your triumphRAT.net post, and another one with the picture open.

Select the picture you want use. Underneath the picture is a column of icons:

There's a final icon underneath the "linked thumbnail" line at the bottom. Click on that, and you get two extra lines of code:

You can grab hold of the bottom line of code, and drag it (or copy and paste it) into the post that you are making. Your post will now have that line of code, something like this:

Now submit your post, and hey presto, as if by magic the picture appears:

Well, everything seems to be in order then.

IE as your browser

Just as a little side bar, if you are using a browser other than Internet Explorer and having problems posting pictures, it could be the browser. I normally use Firefox as my browser and it seems that it is not compatible when trying to post pictures on this site. I tried many times but could not get the pictures to post. I then tried it with IE and it worked the first time.
