G'day from Melbourne, Australia

After reading all of your thoughts on the Thunderbird V America/ SM I have just put down a deposit on a new Thunderbird!:D:D:D

I've blown the budget but I'm sure it will be worth it.

Went in to trade my old Speed Triple on a Storm, ended up keeping my Speedy and buying a white with red and blue 1600 with ABS.

This one was on the floor with $3k off list price.

Came home to think about it and after a few calls from the dealer got them to throw in heated grips and auxilary power outlet, both installed for the same price.

Couldn't be happier and cant wait to pick it up:D:D:D

Cheers

Jase

Looks great. Sounds like you got a great deal. I ended upgrading to the Storm from an America after two months. I blew my budget but very happy.

Cool, post a pic of the new bike please.

What year was your Speedie?

Mine is the original '94 in Fireball Orange

I can post links but not pictures from my Smugmug account - must be doing something wrong!

I just picked up my new Storm yesterday and rode it 200 klms home. It's got shorty TORS with the the Twin "T" handlebars.

The sound and ride is incredible!

I am looking into buying an exhaust, and by looking I mean buy without my wife's knowledge or consent. It's a married thing, anyways I have always wanted to hear how the Staintunes sound. I will probably end up getting the Hogslayers ($650 ish), for the only reason I believe Staintunes are a couple grand.

I've heard the Staintunes online although it's just a picture of a Thunderbird with the sound of the staintunes behind it. How do they sound or even better can you upload some audio?
