so you know when you do something SO stupid, your actually amazed by it?

well, i recently made a moto-fab purchase of a fender eliminator kit. installed it, and in the process, had accidentally burned through the LED wires with my heat gun putting on some heat shrink tubing. i patched that up, and did all the right connections, but had no running tail light or plate light.
i had to ask ted (the friendly guy at moto-fab) if he had any ideas of what to do?

he asks "did you check the fuse"?

duh........ :-D

then 2 weeks ago, i was trying to uunplug what i thought was a MEAn hair-clog in the shower/tub. after pouring an entire large bottle of drain-o in, and waiting a few hours for it to do its job. no progress. so i'm plunging away, then my wife comoes in and says "check the drain lever"........ duh :-D

hand me another can of dumba$$ will ya?

Earned the nickname "kickstand" from a freind of mine when I first bought my bike. I was trying to start it and getting very frustrted when my buddy notice the kickstand was down. He did'n t say anything. He just waited for me to get frustrated and jump off the bike. Then he said, "Why don't you let me try....?"

I even bet him $20 that it wouldn't start for him.

He put the kickstand up and cranked it over. Not only was I retarded but I paid someone to prove it. :knkknk:

Yep I have opened that can of dumba** many times myself only to find out that my wife was way smarter than me and has shown me the error of my ways on numerous occasions...sean...

I felt pretty dumb way back when after I started up my CBR and started riding off before I took off the front disc lock.......OUCH.

That was before they had the bright orange wire coming up to the grip.

I haven't done it with Speedy yet and I better keep it that way....
