<BR>Stupid car pull a LEFT turn in front of a motorcyclist trying to get into the gas station, caught on video by the security camera. It happen so quickly, not sure if the biker was speeding or not, but hopefully he/she lives to ride again.

<BR>I just can't believe the cars and truck that saw the accident, and the person flying by, just driving away without coming to help. How selfish can these people be, so retarded. They all just drive off!!

why do they call that a funny video? that makes me angry when people find stuff like this funny. the bike did look like he was going fast and obviously not paying attention to a car in his lane. but still its not funny.

the one that gives me chills is the one with the guy with his girlfriend and he pops a wheelie and she flies off.

I disagree that nobody stopped to help.

The lady at the gas station told someone to call 911 and then went toward the victims. The guy at the station started walking slowly and then ran in the direction of the biker. The first car seems to have driven off, the second car looks to be pulling into the gas station (probably to come back around to help), the pick-up and the car behind it came to a stop, but the video ends before we can see if they got out to help.

Granted nobody looks to be rushing over, but I think they are all in a little shock and tryng to be able to dectermine what their next steps should be.

Maybe that's just my eternal optomist's view of the video, but that's what I see.

Definately NOT funny. But not entirely the car drivers fault either. There was a significant time before the bike entered the picture and was obviously NOT slowing down, nor making ANY attempt to avoid. He hit full force, straight on. Biker's head was up his @ss, car turning left or not.

CNN showed that video after Rothlesburger's crash. I belive they reported that the motorcyclist was killed.

You never know how people will react but at least it appears that some in this case were attempting to help out. During the riots in LA I saw a guy get KO'd on CB750F SS by a car that freaked in traffic. The car took off (he couldn't have misssed the fact that be just hit the rider) but loads of people got out of their cars to help even in a pretty serious situation complete with gun shots and fires all around. It was reassuring to see that some folks would stop.

Bad situation in the clip but I'd have to agree there was a good measure of culpability on the side of the rider due to what looks like a pretty high rate of speed in an area with traffic and driveways.

I can't believe the web posts it as funny.
