Any suggestions for a stiffer front fork mod. besides heavier oil. My Trident seems to be too soft in the front, dives into turns too much for me.

Also, I need new tires any siggestions out there ?
Dont bother with the Bridgestones please they sucked for me, not even 2 riding seasons and all cupped.

Fire away at will !! :-D

Bridgestones suck! For about a hundred bucks you can buy some progressive springs and go up to 15wt oil - Tyres Dunlop, Michelin or Avon - the old D208 were nice but perhaps too much for a Standard - maybe 220's.... oh and never use a clip only chain, always a pressed link!

I have yet to do the fork springs on my ride (mod. pending). I did get rid of the Bridgestones for a set of Avon Azarros. Big improvement- good feedback and traction. I've about 4k miles on them and they are wearing well.

I might go to the Metzlers next, but they are expensive.
