Hi to you all.

In a thread yesterday Imperial88 asked about tensioning his primary chain using a screw driver, but could not get it to work.

I have offered to give him a tool i have and don't need.

His bike is a 73' TR7Rv 750 tiger mine is a 78'T140V, will my tool! ok ok, fit his bike, if so i will post it out to him.

Regards Simon.

I have a screwdriver that I took to the grinder and 'narrowed' to fit into the primary adjuster access hole ... I go back and forth as to whether I prefer it or the 'correct' tool ...

i too modified a common screwdriver by narrowing it to fit, grinding it on the sides. i also ground back the front face of the blade
until the tip was of the right thickness to fit the adjuster's slot nicely.
i started with a craftsman screwdriver because it has a hexagonal shank.
handy for puting a small wrench on for added torque. -j
