Hey, nice bikes! Good luck.
Thanks! The Bonnie has gone through a significant change since then, a year ago.

The HD is nice, 2005 w/2100 miles on it, taxes paid w/100,000 mile warranty.

Now I have to find someone to buy her sportster...anyone? 1998 sinister blue 883 w/20000 miles on it, new tires, taxes paid...don't ride your wife, let her ride herself!! :-D

Greg
Don't like the skinny front wheel on those bikes. Given that most of the braking effort is on the front tyre, it would appear to make sense to have it as wide as possible, no? Also heard that they have a tendency to tramline in uneven road surfaces. Is there an engineering justification for a narrow front tyre, or is it just aesthetics?
where'd you get the clip ons?

nice bikes btw, now the important question, which one is faster off the line?
GREAT CHOICE! if i owned a harley? that would be my choice. two great looking bikes.. ride safe. joe

Clipons from ebay donated from a donor I won't disclose until I've fit them (hopefully today if they show). The HD is WAY to overweight to contend  . Alas, a smooth ride to say the least.

Sweet lookin' Hog. There's no denying they make some bad a*s bikes...

...but I'll take the bonnie any day.
Thanks for the compliments, I will share them with the wife. Pesonally, I think it needs black rims and a black 2-1 LSR exhaust. But it is still just another HD, just not as common as the other models, the Bonnie IS cooler it just doesn't sound AS cool!

She doesn't like it when I start to "well I personally" her bikes, I try too leave it up to her!

Exemplary, my dear man! If there were a gold star smiley, you'd get one.

Nice color choice. Lose that aircleaner as well. My buddy has a Nighttrain, but in the 100 yr anniversary blue, yech.

A Harley and Triumph eh? Reminds me of a funny story. I was in the local Harley/ Triumph shop and there was a woman looking at a new 1200 Trophy. Her husband was standing off to the side. She asked the salesman if he thought that she could ride the Triumph with her husband on his Harley. The saleman dead panned her " Only if you don't mind waiting for him to catch up." The grin across her face said it all. I'm sure she bought the bike. :)
Hey! What's wrong with owning one of each? I'll have you know....aw, never mind..
