Hello Everyone,

Attached is a picture of the gas line hookup on my 01 Sprint. The small lines with the arrows pointing to them were pulled out when I removed the tank.
Can anyone tell me where these two lines hook to on the other end?

They're meant to be loose, they're vent/overflow lines, they just dangle between the frame and motor.

The actual fuel lines are the thick ones with the quick-release fittings that are going directly into the fuel pump.

A little more detail

Hi,

those two pipes should end up in a little wire hoop tucked on the inside leading edge of the chassis leg, near the rear brake lever.

One of the pipes (the shorter) gets there through a hole in the sump flange on the rear face of the engine, the other hangs down behind the flange - no idea why!

sprint01,

I pm'd you.

Also, read the Fuel Fitting thread. I've figured out one reason the plastic pressure side fitting will break.
