Sooo...Long story short a good weekend with a brand new tiger 800 xc turned into a horrible day. Could have been worse but basically I now need a new mirror (just the mirror, not housing), a new bar end, front brake lever, and foot peg. Are you guys able to order from somewhere other than the dealer? Aftermarket is okay too. Thanks guys!

We like long story's, so come on spill the beans ??

Then we'll all criticise you, and tell you what you should have done

Whatever happened, hope you're ok :)

That's where I normally go. They are only showing 2010 tigers.
I'd call them up. I suspect they just haven't updated their web ordering system, but can get you what you need. Don't forget to ask for the 10% discount for forum members ...

Parts

These guys are the cheapest for original equipment. For your needs you may need to talk to them. With the Tiger 800 being so new parts may be hard to come by.

These levers may do the trick for you. I bought some of these Chinese for my 1050 and they seem to work well.

Twisted throttle may be able to help you out for pegs and bar ends, handguards etc..

Generic mirrors can be found on EBay. I think the Yamaha VStar ones work, 10mm.. Yopu might want to investigate a little more on the size.

Hope you get her going again soon.

Basically it was a 2 lane sharp right hand curve. Well the lady beside me (on the cell phone) didn't look I guess and decided she wanted in my lane. I turned a little sharper and tried slowing down a bit but the new tires and wet Washington roads didn't like that. Front tire slipped out and there I went. Only doing about 25. Less that 150 bucks in parts. Wasn't bad overall but what really got to me was the lady just drove off. Don't know if she ever saw my bright orange jacket or bike. Could have been worse but when the bike is only 3 days old its never fun.

Thanks for the parts links guys. Ill check the vstar mirrors since I own one of those too. The rest I got from the dealer today.
