Finally assembled our car lift to the shop and instantly got spark to start my long overdue Corolla KE20 fixing project. It has stood couple of years outside and then 6 years in my basement, so I'm going through brakes, carb overhaul, emptied and cleaned tank, changed few bushings, drive shaft bearings, front shocks, winter tyres... Lot of work but I just love these old Toyotas, they are so bulletproof and easy to fix, when we have the nuclear winter this will my ride.

Not too many around anymore, these were huge success in Finland and was probably among most sold cars back in the day but most have been taken by rust and rally racing. This is '76 model painted with Kawasaki green by previous owner, should have been roulette green but beggars can't be choosers. Might even get it inspected at the end of this week if I get all parts in time.
FINALLY finished my 4 year resto. of my 1975 Suzuki Gt 750 M.
Talk about a lengthy project. . .
Had my first ride on it. Running it in so I can’t give it a handful.
Happily surprised with the handling and braking. Added tapered head bearings; 4 lots of roller bearings into the swing arm and a couple of internal fork mods.
Did an article on it for the CBX Owners Club on it and my other bikes.
( needed some filler for the January edition of the Magazine)
(1) Almost completed. Final assembly.

Only had the 955j for a month. She needs some love. Hopefully over next couple of weeks:
secondhand shock goes in (current one is in terrible condition).
carbon fibre hugger. Bought second hand, but came with no fixings. Anyone know what fixings are needed? Also, there seems to be a small plastic/rubber bung in swingarm, on right hand side as if looking from the bike. Does this come out in order to fit hugger?
take fairings off, give bike proper clean, give it some love and get to know it.

Just bought new project! 1982 Yamaha XJ 750 Seca Scrambler, engine has been run dry so that is toast but other than that it looks promising. New tires, new progressive rear shocks and loads of aftermarket stuff. Re painted, at least tank. Out to get it tomorrow. It's almost time to order one 2000ish XS 900s engine from Netherlands, they cost 250€ each and it'll be serious gravel thrower with that mill. Payed 680€ for the bike without seeing, so far I'm thinking this could be a real bargain but tomorrow will reveal the ugly truth.

That's nice one. Seca can go different ways, my friend just brought to my shop 650 one with set of Pichler aftermarket gt fairings, rearsets and bars. Real vintage look.

Yeah, bargain it was. Build quality is suprisingly good, especially electronics look like it's done by professional. 🎉 Loads of aftermarket stuff, speedo seems like it could be gps model. New Metzeler Tourance tyres, pretty nice LED blinkers and rear light. Whole bike painted over, frame is okay but tank is really solid, definitely pro painters work. Happy with what I got, tried to buy a project, ended basically with engine installation 👊.
