i think you want "SB8125L" - M8 X 1.25
It seems like the bleeders on the Brembos are a different size. The thread is smaller so M8x1.25 won't fit.

I didn't have a caliper on hand so I didn't get a chance to measure the bleeder while brake fluid was squirting all over the place. I'm going to research the correct size. If anybody knows the correct size off hand, please let me know.

In the meantime, I have these Speed Bleeders for late model (apparently except 2008+ Speed Triples). They were $7 each. Make an offer and I'll ship them out. Otherwise, I'm sending them back.

Thanks!

Did you ever figure out which size Speed Bleeders the 08's take? I wouldn't mind getting some. I had them on my F650 and the were great.

They're M8 for sure. If 1.25 is too big then it must be 1.0
I'm waiting for confirmation from the Speed Bleeder people.

usually
brembo threads on master cylinders and calipers are:
1.0 pitch
Nissins are: 1.25 pitch
and Tockio are: 1.0 pitch

but don't take my word for it...pls double check

Just make sure when you work out thread size and pitch, you don't order the same length as stock. Speed bleeders have shorter thread lengths, so you'll require a longer bleeder than stock. I can't understand why they don't take their length measurement from the end of the thread???

I just got stainless steel speed bleeders for my '10 with Brembo fronts from 'kirby' on eBay (guy is awesome at service!) and together he got me the correct Brembo fronts - SB6100 (M6x1.0). The rear is still the SB8125 (M8x1.25).
