TPUSA 904 big bore kit
39mm flat slides
813 cam
mild head work
Domintor Sports
air box elimination kit
520 kit with stock ratios
This setup is worth around 85hp with 65lbs of torque. In the canyons, along with a similar Scrambler, we both went 62 miles on 1.44 gal for the Thrux and 1.45 gal for the Scrambler, for an average of 43mpg. Considering we were pretty much wfo in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th all the way, we considered it to be excellent milage. The carbs are much more efficient, we assume. Anyway, that's our story and we're sticking to it!

Hey Bikeflake

Bikeflake,
I sent a PM to you but I'll ask the same question here.
Will your bike loft the front wheel by gassing it???
Not revving it up and dumping the clutch.
Will it lift the tire when you accelerate hard from stop or at low speed???
Thanks for any reply.

I've got :-
Bob Farnham 904cc big bore kit
cams changed but don't know what to as the mods were done by previouse owner
Keihin CR race carbs - look to be about 40's
no airbox K&N filters

I managed 140 miles ( according to trip meter ) before having to switch to reserve which worked out at 52.6mpUKg which seems too good to be true , I reckon the speedo and the milo are reading way over
