One thing that hasn't been mentioned, is that when you you remove the SAIS system, it leaves the electrical connection to the ECM open causing the check engine light to come on and stay on. The simple fix is to close this loop, which tells the ECM it's working. Bella Corse- bellacorse.com- offers a $20 loop closer easily installed. And you do not have to completely remove the whole system ( all the hoses and such) if you don't want to. You may find a similar item from others vendors.

Not 100% sure, but the connections are pretty standard across the Triumph twin models. Verify with the vendor you choose to be sure. I’m sure some of our friends here can help.

Make sure to get the kit which includes a plug with a resistor attached to fool the computer that the AIS is still functioning or it could cause fault codes to come up.

I was hoping this was the case, as I’m pretty sure Speedmasters switched to fuel injection in 08/09
