65 miles tonight on the Tiger, to the pre race classic meet at the Ulster Grand Prix paddock/pits area. Not as many "classics" as in previous years and sadly, a few absent friends...
The old 'bike went soooo well today that I took the long way home, lots of little detours, side roads etc, one of those days that you don't want to get off the thing, because it just feels so "RIGHT". 99% of you know what I mean.....

175 miles today in company with 2 friends on a '72 Norton Commando roadster and a '76 Kawasaki Z750 twin. We're having an "Indian summer" here with sunny weather and temps in the high 60's degrees f....

as Van Morrison sang:

"when it's not always rainin' , there'll be days like this"

Removed and refitted (with new gaskets) exhaust side rocker box to try to cure a slight oil weep. Started the old girl up out of her winter sleep. Took a few kicks but the engine came to life again, loved the sound and the sensation of it all again. Can't wait now for spring to come.

Dear friends, I have decided with a heavy heart to sell my lovely TR7RV Tiger 750 after 5 years of ownership. I acquired my Tiger with a genuine 1,551 miles from new...it now has almost 9,500 miles on it's gorgeous "Smiths" speedometer....and has never, ever left me on the roadside.
My reasons for deciding to sell are deeply personal / medical and I will not elaborate further.
I have enjoyed beyond words the fellowship and friendship that has come my way on this happy forum. Thank you all and everyone. Please keep my thread going....I will check in every now and then to make sure that you are doing that!

Stay safe and free all...thanks for the ride

Regarding a separate thread, anyone here can start one. Rathlindri started this one on his own a long time ago and it just kept going.

So if you think that a Rides type of thread is in order, why not start one and "see where it goes". ;)

regards,
Rob
I decided to look in and am pleased to see the "usual suspects" are keeping my thread going in the spirit in which it was intended, THANKS GUYS!! (you know who you are!) :)
