Can anyone cast their eye on this pic and try to ID the type of handlebars fitted to McQueens Bonneville in the attached pic ?

And would you know if fitting this type to an 865 se would need longer cables ? Clutch and throttle and brake etc

Wheel Vehicle Tire Motor vehicle Automotive tire

Many Thanks

PS this guy is too cool by far

They are known as western handlebars.

If you search western handlebars in the search box at the top of the page there is a fair bit of info on them and fitting them, or look in the "triumph twins technical section" there is a thread on handlebars in the stickies.

Don't get the 1973+ Triumph western bars, they are huge, I have some.

That first photo was taken in 1968.
These are perhaps the bars.

If so, I have these too. Look like above link and photo, more comfortable than 1973+.

About a five inch rise. Unbolt your present handlebars and see if you can raise them that far, with hoses and electrical cables intact.
