The exact same thing happened to the engine in my bike.
I was wondering, how many miles were on your bike when it broke and what was your bike doing when it did break?

I'm not sure how mine broke because I bought it that way, so I'm trying to understand the situation better and figure it out.
Any info is appreciated.

Thanks

Edit: Lol, I just realized Decosse just posted the thread to my issue XD

I'd stick with an origonal engine to save messing about changing which can result in much hassle, even though seems straight forward. I bought my 2002 Speedie 955i from http://www.kenurwinmotorcycles.com who break bikes as well as well as selling whole ones. They're based in Thorne near Doncaster, 2 mins off the M18.

He's also done a fair few 1050 engine transplants to daytonas and sprints.
