It was only 25*C (81*F) early this morning when I went for my morning walk so decided to give the Bonnie a good clean and wash, followed by waxing and polishing.
It was well over 30*C (90* F + ) when I'd finished by 10.00 AM.
Feeling very tired now, we are having an early June heatwave here in Spain at the moment.

Moved the rectifier on my new 2014 T100 Black to the frame, installed the Motone tail tidy, removed the shocks (whilst on the center stand, then dropped the center stand on the entire rear of the bike onto the back tire... I'm such an idiot), installed the Motone indicator brackets, then the Motogadget pin LED's, and simply removed the front indicators (for lack of time). Rode to work and everything was fine, besides the hyper flash, and the relay is in the mail!

Got in a short ride yesterday, but it didn't really scratch the itch. Today I started earlier in the afternoon, my son in law was free too, and my soul is now feeling more peace.

Sometimes just a few miles in good company does you sooooo much good.

Made it out for about an hour or so today. Got a bit chilly by the time I got back, which was around sunset.

The weekend before Christmas, I sorted my Tigers brakes. Badly seized on the sliding pins, with rusty pistons. So, £100 for rebuild kits, or £65 for a pair of 2015 Street Triple, 1650 mile calliper's? I chose the calliper's, as you would expect, absolutely immaculate. But, cleaned and lubed the sliding pins and shims etc. I replaced the pad retaining pins with stainless ones that I already had. Just half an hour to fit, Pads in the calliper's barely bedded in, so saved my new set for next time. About an hour to bleed with new fluid. The result is fantastic front brakes, oh and a rather attractive gold finish on my silver Tiger.
If anyone is interested, they are the same as Nissin calliper,s fitted to 900 Thunderbirds, Tigers, Bonneville's etc, worth checking if you need calliper's.

A well maintained bike hey.
well was working 10hr days most of the time, rode to work, some times working sat and sun. always changed the oil and oil filter. now I am retired I had the time to remove the plastic lift the tank , but it was lazlenes on my part. but it does go to show you dont need to change the filter as much as they say. even retired I keep putting it off just to much plastic to remove.as you can see I took the short cut and cut the plastic to get to the radiator cap

I went out on my Honda on boxing day, off to the coast at Bridlington for fish & chips.

Being a Honda it broke down... vacuum pipe to the fuel tap got dislodged which you can't even see, let alone get to until you lift the tank. Lucky it spluttered as far as motorway bridge before totally stopping as it was pouring with rain shortly after. Breakdown didn't take too long to arrive though & I fixed it yesterday. The little thing also passed 50k miles on that run.

Here's it's favourite place of the day as it wanted to stay there.

A good range of chippys in Bridlington, although the best is in Hornsea, which is not in Norf Laaandan.

Bridlington has been up and coming for decades.
Can't think of the name of the one we went too. We parked in the bike bay at the top of the car park by the harbour. Turned left when looking away from the sea & it was on the corner of the second junction as far as I recall.

It was sunny yesterday so I took the Harley out for a run, it really didn't want to start. Fully charged by spinning over & coughing for about a minute before it fired up on one pot/plug (it's twin plug per pot). Lots of whiteish smoke for a min or so till it settled down & ran properly. Not how I expected a modern engine to behave after being parked for month or so. Might have been related to me washing the electrics under the seat when I put it away last though, there's a crap bit of design where the spring comes through the mudguard just above the electrics & so they leave a gap to let the dirt in. I plan to put a rubber sheet over it, but haven't got around to it yet.

Anyway, didn't break down this time, but it's crap on fuel when the temp is 3-5c. I don't think it got warmed up all day & I did about 150miles. Lucky I'm finishing work early today as I'll get it rinsed down then, got home about 9pm & the roads had been gritted so it's all salty.

I didn't take any pics though, so it's a boring post.

Hard frost this morning but the sun came out so decided to go for a spin on the Bonnie.
Due to my girlfriend coming over for 3 weeks back in November then catching bronchitis this was the first time out on it since the end of October.
Only did 90 odd kms and even though it was cold it was so enjoyable to get out on a bike once more. Probably in the low 40's degree F. Didn't see any Brass Monkeys looking for welders so couldn't have been too bad. Took it careful on the bends where the sun hadn't warmed up the tarmac as they were rather slippery.
Now I'm trying to defrost 🥶🥶🥶
