Is that a track with trees in the run-off and nothing in between?!

The only track I know of like that is Brooklands down the road, but that's not been raced on since the late 30's and you had to shoot off the top of the banked circuit to hit the trees :-D

BROOKLANDS

Pacific Raceway has some areas like that. The runoff is really wide, and that looks similar. It is concrete wall that I don't much care for.

thats at Jennings GP here in FL

a while back, someone went right into the trees and died

its pretty far to the trees, I cant imagine going all the way in...you could easily just lay you bike down to avoid them

Hey Will - I take it that concrete is on the straight, not the twisty section?

Fury - Sounds like the run off is far greater than it looks in the pic.
Looks like you're having a a good crack out there BTW

Yes, the concrete is on a straight. There is a kink in the straight that some wag named the "death chute" because there are a lot of concrete walls, but I don't know of anyone ever falling off there. It sounds a lot spookier than it really is.
