Went out for a ride today (MLK holiday) with a couple of HD dudes.
I like to think that they are just social climbers by wanting to ride with a Triumph.

We could not have asked for a more perfect day....80f, a cool breeze and hardly a cloud in the sky.

To all you guys and gals that have your bikes tucked away for winter and are snowbound.... :lalala: :lalala: :lalala: kit: kit: kit:

Fantastic weather there! Although it has been sunny here in Everett, WA the last couple of days, there has been enough snow and ice on some roads to make it treacherous. Any shady spot is icy.

Remember this is the middle of winter for us
But it is like this all year round.

We are as far north of the equator as Townsville is south, but no hot westerlies.

Let me just open my wound a little more and poor in the container of salt. It is going to hit atleast -20 F tonight. So even if I was insane enough to take the bike out...I would have to contend with the ice and snow left on the street from yesterdays storm. It is safe to say that the Maine motorcycle fatality rate for January will most certainly be very very very low.

I played a vigorous game of rink rat ice hockey yesterday, on a lake. With numerous libations and heat pads as a follow up.

Ah yes those nice days, it was a balmy -5 degrees not counting the windchill.

I rode today ! It started out 22 degrees here in Southern Illinois.
Warmed to 32 degrees Put on 130 miles on my Tiger..
