Not a stranger to Triumphs or this site, but somehow I lost/forgot my username over the last decade or so. Had an '03 Bonnie and a Steamer a while back. Moved to Hawai'i 8 years ago, Big Island is not a great motorcycle place what with one actual road and a 55 mph speed limit, so a Burgman was my two wheeled fix. Now that I'm back on the mainland, picked up an '07 for sofa cushion money; best bargain ever.
Here's a mystery, though; it has a blacked-out engine and single-clock instrument binnacle, but a two-tone tank and gaiters a la T100. And adjustable preload forks that might or might not be aftermarket. Titled as a "Bonneville", VIN search comes up as "Bonneville/special edition" or some such.
So; not a black, not a straight-up Bonneville, and not a T100. I can't believe the PO spent the bucks to slap a T100 tank on a black, or to stick a black engine in a T100.
Not that I'm complaining.
Pic immediately after unloading; couldn't ride the 75 miles home because of recent (two weeks earlier) shoulder surgery (hang head in shame)

Hello, welcome to the site. I hope you find this Triumph site to be a great place to meet and talk all Triumph bikes with a great bunch of riders.

Everyone here is very willing to help with any issues or concerns with your bike. This is really a great bunch of riders very willing to help other riders.

Cruise around the different sections and find where you fit comfortably. There are tech sections for each of the many models of Triumphs and chat sections for the same. Also we have a great classifieds section that is well worth checking out.

If you want to just hang out and shoot the breeze the “Biker Hang-Out” Chat Section will be the place to stop in.

If you haven't already please fill out your profile. It helps others to know what you ride and where on the planet you are located.

I hope you enjoy the site. The moderators are here to help if you have questions or concerns. Thanks for joining the Triumph Rat Family.

Here is a link to the rules of the site and the classifieds. I recommend that you take a few minutes to read through them.
