Nice pipes. What setup are you using? Also NO wind noise! Using an external mic?A cautious first ride up the Gillies since my last visit two years ago. The surface is much improved since my last visit and I scored a beautiful fine day and very little traffic on this run. A very enjoyable ride indeed.

I'm using a D & D 553-24M full system as seen below.Nice pipes. What setup are you using?
I use a GoPro Hero 2 which has a 1/8" stereo jack for an external microphone into which I plug an audio-technica ATR3350 powered microphone. I run the cord up to my jacket pocket where the excess cord and power unit are kept and from there I run the cord up under my jacket and into the back protector pocket of the jacket into which I place the microphone. The microphone is wrapped in foam to further reduce wind noise. It all works very well as you have noted with only a slight flapping of the jacket being heard occasionally at high speed. Also NO wind noise! Using an external mic?
I'd have to agree although they are probably a touch too loud for most tastes. If they had removable baffles like the Arrows/TEC system that would allow modification/adjustment of the sound level they would be the perfect system.I absolutely can't say enough about the D&D full 2 into 2 system. The sound. Oh my God. And along with opening up the intake on my Thruxton made the thing run like a turpentined cat. :surprise:
