Hi

I've tried to find past posts about good video camera mounts for a Tiger 1050 but couldn't find any.

Does anyone use a particular maker / supplier of a video camera mount (for a standard Sony handycam)?

Many of the video camera mounts I've seen seem to point the camera into the dials or lower, so am loking for solutions I can buy.

I'm planning a tour to into Queensland in Australia and looking to video some of the trip.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Regards
Dean

A friend of mine is looking at this. http://www.launchhelmetcams.com/analogue/comp
It requires an AV in on the camera to work, but means you have more choices on mounting, including on your helmet. Your Sony should have this AV in connection.

Unfortunately I have a JVC Everio Hard Disk Drive camera, which it doesn't work with, and I'm not sure how a HDD camera would mount to handlebars or tank, considering how HDDs don't like vibrations.

Lucky basket getting to tour Queensland!

Ram mount

I have a 20$ Ram mount universal camera adaptation (1 screw).
Just screw it to the camera and clamp it in the steer ram mount (ex. for GPS). Works great, is discreet and cheap.
