So, I just wanted to fill it up and the pump didnt have anything special, just normal, everyday petrol.

Now I've just put a tank of Shell V-power(R).

It seems to me that this has made a huuge difference; the throttle response is much more linear and it's smoother on a trailing throttle. The bike also pops and bangs more on the overrun now. (One cracking round of artillery coming into Innerliethen)

Is this just me, or are these bikes sensitive to octane?

Also; I'm suprised by how lumpily it responds to small throttle openings it is. this is my first injected bike though and I believe this is typical of injection.
