I'd appreciate a tip or two on unplugging the O2 sensors on my '09 Bonneville. There seem to be 3 nibs on the plastic connector, and none of them want to break free.

There's just one sprung tab that latches in the square "window" you can see in the photo. Use a small screwdriver to spring the tab downwards away from the window while pulling the connector.

Don't start to pull until the sprung bit has moved, otherwise the friction on the latch caused by the pulling will make things harder.

Thanks Forchetto (yet again).

The other two tabs that I saw in the waning light of yesterday turned out to belong to the insert around the plug, and not the plug proper.
