So, I went to remove my passenger seat and found this item under the seat. Does anyone know what it is, it appears to be connected to the wiring around the rear light/indicators but has no markings on it. I'm thinking tracker maybe?

Yes, it was used. I did think it was a tracker but it has no markings or identification on it so was unsure. I wondered if anyone has come across anything similar

The fact that it's connected into the rear lights/indicators makes me think it might be a brake light modulator. Do your brake lights flash when you apply them?

Not that I've noticed but might be worth checking out. I must admit it seemed a strange place to connect a tracker, if that's what it is, but they may have just looked for a convenient place in the loom. I'm led to believe some of the other bikes in the range don't like non triumph bits adding in, but the Bonneville range doesn't have some some of the more fancy electronics so may be ok.

It's a square end profile to that with tiny cross heads holding the end plates on, might be worth taking a better picture of it

I have seen an anti-theft GPS tracker similar to that box. Maybe connected to the light line for power charge.

So, finally found out what it is. An ST2 turn system module. Looks well made, and a great add-on, but sadly doesn't wok!! so either not compatible with the Speedmaster 1200 or a quality issue.
