Hi All:

Just purchased a red Sprint ST, what a great bike and what a great forum this is, I look forward to participating. I want to put a Union Jack decal/sticker around 2 1/2" wide on each side of the fairing. I have only been able to find one place (www.domiracer.com/decals_british.html) that sells them and they are a little too big at 3 1/4" wide. Anyone know where I can buy a couple of decals/stickers that won't damage the paint? Thanks.

I got a nice pair frm my triumph dealer. Its not an actual decal. Its a hard plastic piece that looks as if it came on the bike from the factory. It may be a bit smaller than the dimensions you wanted though

I second Triumphrite. I got some 'replicas' of the Daytona stickers from the previous years on Ebay. The are pretty cool looking and wish Triumph was putting them on the new bikes. It has the flag with the ends of the flag shredding (wind drag taking it toll you know) :-D

Hey 3pots --- just got to your email. I wanted something simple (meaning NOT costly) so I found the relica decal I was talking about. If you look at the little pic for the opening of the 'Daytona Deliberations' forum on this site, my decal/sticker looks exactly like those 'older' Daytona tailpiece stickers. I like the looks of those and cost very little. I could try to locate who I bought from thru Ebay but don't know if I can since I got them this past summer. :???:

You may want to try these from your dealer. They're not the flimsy stickers, but the thicker rubbery plastic badges. I believe they are the actual OEM stock replacement badges for previous production bikes, but I don't remember which ones. I'll take some pictures and post later today:

1. Triumph P/N T3900074 Perfectly rectangular U.K. flag, not side-specific. Rather small (I'll measure and let you know). Too small, in my opinion, for the fairing. I put one on my license plate mount. I paid $5.84 USD each from my local dealer.

2. Triumph P/N 3900071-T0301 (left) and P/N 3900073-T0301 (right) "Wavy" U.K. flag, side-specific. Larger than the Item 1 above (I'll measure and let you know). Works rather well on the fairings, without being too overbearing. I paid $11.24 USD each.

I'll post some pictures, hopefully in a few hours.

Yup...Labor Day weekend 2006. I think this is a Zee Photo. I got shot by all three photo companies up there. If you have never been, it's worth it at least a one time visit. Mid week is best...or get up there at least on Friday early if you are attending a weekend event.
