Maybe Montepulciano?

I was in Lucca last September and got directions from a completely drunk Italian guy riding a Harley-Davidson giga-glide in the middle of the night - we talked bikes in bad+drunk Italian for a minute and then asked for directions. He got us to San Martino in Fredanna. I hope he made it home alright... He was toasted! Nice that he hooked us up.

You are correct it's Montepulciano! My wife grouped it with northern Tuscany pictures and I mistakenly thought it was a very similar church as viewed from Cortona. Well, I have to raise the bar here a little, how about this one?

Getting back to the trivia, the last church posted is in San Quirico d'Orcia. For more information on this town click below.

Now for the next Tuscany Trivia question, with the winner winning the right to drink as much Chianti Classico and eat as much Salami and Pecorino as they'd like, name the following castle/vineyards.

It has been in the same family for almost 900 years, making it the oldest continually operated family owned winery in the world.

The walls around the castle look like this:

Here's the castle which sits up high above the vineyards:

And the view of the vineyards from near the base of the castle walls:

Looks like a nice place but I prefer more bumps in my landscape. That probably comes from growing up in flat old east anglia. When I take my bike on holiday now I like to go up and down. Looks lovely in Tuscany though.
