Anyone have any experience converting the turn signals into running lights so they are illuminated while the bike is running? Maybe something as simple as a mod in the turn signal housing? I am looking to do it myself and not spend money on some kits that makes everything flash all of the time.

Check your local laws...someplaces they don't allow either amber running lights or red turnsignals, or both.
That disclaimer out of the way, you'll need turnsignals with a dual filament socket. I have done a bunch of HDs and some run the stock amber lenses, some change to red. Your call. Oh, and I have also changed to turnsignal/brakelight combos, for the more paranoid.

I'm sure a module must be made for the Triumphs. I paid about $50 for a module that turns my turn signals into brake/running/turn signals for my Sportster

Thanks for your input, I don't know if it is worth 99 bucks, but it seems the way to do it is with a relay.
