So I bought my new 2013 T100 August 2013
Early 2014 I did the TTP3 mods with the new map.
Bike runs great.
Life stuff the past couple years has kept me mostly off the bike but this year have been riding more.
Anyway when I did my map upgrade TTP didn’t have their tune loader program and I got curious and emailed them asking if there were advantages to their program over Tune ECU and if it was offered separate from purchasing a map.
Mike quickly got back to me and said there were no real advantages between the 2 other then Tune Loader was a little easier to use.
BUT he told me since the time I’d done my changes TTP3 had made some changes mostly regarding fuel consumption improvements and that was available with tune loader for twenty pounds. (Around 25 US I guess)
Anyone else gone through this and if so what were the results?
I’m going to do it for sure and will report back my results.
My gas mileage is pretty crappy but I long ago quit worrying about it and not trying to start another gas mileage thread!
Thanks!

Interesting. Did he he give you a date range when the TTP3 was improved? I also had very poor mileage on TTP3 and after a lot of adjusting/checking/working with Mike, I requested to "downgrade" to TTP2....which he agreed to and mileage went back up to something more reasonable (low to mid-30's mpg to mid-40's mpg). Might be interested to try an improved #3....

No I didn't ask him when the changes were made.
I plan on installing it today but it may take a week or so to see any results as far as mileage goes.
I'm interested to see if I see/feel any performance change.
I'll let you know.

TTP 3 update

Well that was easy
Took about 1/2 hour start to finish to download the updated tune 3 and complete the reset adaptation.
Bike sounds good
I’ll try to get it out for a ride later today.

Went out to test the upgraded TTP3 tune.
I thought the bike was running pretty darn good already but now the throttle response is way smoother.
As I said earlier I’ve had the 3 tune since either late 2013 or early 14.
Until I contacted Mike at TTP the other day just to learn more about TTP’s tune loader I didn’t realize there’d been some changes to that tune,
He said the changes primarily were to improve fuel consumption. I’ll be checking how that affects me but the way the bike has really smoothed out makes me happy.
One thing that I was letting tweak me out a little was when I discovered I couldn’t save the old map like was the case with Tune ECU.
I still have that program and all my old map files but apparently you’re not able to go backwards anymore (not easily anyway)
Anyway screw it.
I ain’t going backwards!

My understanding is the Tune Loader's primary purpose is to prevent folks saving out a copy of the map and sharing it around. Basically a copy protection scheme.
