Kit is in the mail (thanks Coweta Custom Cycles!). Is there much to the install? I am no genius with a wrench (or a soldering iron) so I was wondering if I should get my dealer to install it. Any thoughts? :???:

It's pretty easy ,no soldering required.

Pretty straightforward installation, you'll need to feed the new wire harness into the headlight bucket and plug it into the correct female plug. There is a new harness for the idiot light's that replace's the existing.

Just take your time...you'll be fine.

Just follow the good, explicit directions in the kit.

It's straightforward, no soldering required, just a gentle touch and some fidgeting with parts. You plug it into a connector in the headlight shell. Your '06 will not require the "removal of the tank" part of the instructions.

Try to route the wires and cables gently so they "naturally" sit in a good position.
